Snowflake’s FY26 Sales Kickoff Event
Brand identity, art direction, and experiential design for Snowflake’s annual Sales Kickoff Event
3-Month Project · Dec 2024 – Feb 2025
Caesars Palace, Las Vegas
Client: Snowflake
Role: Contract Graphic Designer/ Art Director
Overview
Snowflake's FY26 Sales Kickoff brought together over 3,000 employees and Snowflake partners in Las Vegas for one of the company's largest annual events. As a contract Graphic Designer and Art Director, I helped expand the event's visual identity across digital, motion, environmental, and print experiences, ensuring every attendee touchpoint felt cohesive, engaging, and unmistakably Snowflake.
Challenges
The event required hundreds of branded assets spanning keynote presentations, large-scale environmental graphics, motion content, wayfinding, and printed materials—all within a condensed production timeline. Designs needed to scale across dozens of formats while maintaining consistency, supporting executive storytelling, and creating an immersive experience for thousands of attendees.
Approach
As an art director/ graphic designer, my role was to step in as the connective tissue that brought every piece of the event together. Working across teams, I supported the creative needs of a large-scale, technically complex production while developing and applying the visual language and storytelling that unified hundreds of individual assets into one cohesive experience.
Throughout the design process of each deliverable, my focus remained on two things: the attendee experience and expressing Snowflake's intended narrative. Every presentation, motion graphic, environmental installation, and printed piece was designed as part of a larger visual story, creating a continuous thread of clarity, cohesion, and immersion from the moment guests arrived through the closing keynote—and even into the event's closing celebration.
Results & Takeaways
The event successfully delivered a cohesive brand experience across every attendee touchpoint. Beyond the deliverables themselves, this project reinforced the importance of design systems, cross-functional collaboration, and storytelling at scale.
Working closely with executives, enablement, and vendors was one of the the most rewarding aspects of this project, particularly working one-on-one with tech executives to translate complex data, ideas, and business strategy into clear, engaging visual stories. Bridging the gap between technical content and human understanding is one of the aspects of design I find most meaningful and invigorating.
This role also deepened my appreciation for experience design—how thoughtful, consistent design can shape not just what people see, but how they feel as they move through an event or space.
On a more technical level, I enjoyed balancing creative vision with the realities of production. I've always approached design with a practical mindset, and this project challenged me to push the boundaries of what was possible while remaining grounded in feasibility. Finding creative solutions within technical constraints, and ultimately bringing new, immersive experiences to an audience at this scale was something I’ve carried with me since.
