Concept
Champagne Cowboy reimagines the spirit of the American cowboy through a lens that feels celebratory, modern, and distinctly urban. Located in Arlington—positioned between two major Texas cities—the concept acts as a cultural bridge, blending the grit and iconography of cowboy heritage with the energy of a growing, contemporary social scene.
Rather than leaning rustic or nostalgic, the brand embraces a playful, elevated take on Western identity—where boots meet bubbles, and tradition meets bold expression. Champagne Cowboy captures a sense of occasion: lively, magnetic, and a little unexpected. It’s a place where classic Western motifs are reinterpreted with character, confidence and style—designed to resonate with a wide audience while still feeling rooted in Texas culture.
Role
Led the development of the logo and visual identity, translating a playful, modern take on Western culture into a bold, cohesive brand system. Defined typography, color, pattern, and graphic elements, and applied the identity across menus, signage, and environmental touchpoints to create a high-impact and recognizable brand experience.
Design Approach
The visual identity is built to feel big, graphic, and unmistakably expressive—prioritizing impact across both physical and digital touchpoints.
The logo is intentionally large and spatial—designed to command attention and anchor the identity. A modernized spur acts as a counterbalance, introducing a sharp Western edge while maintaining a minimal, contemporary feel.
The palette draws from the shifting light of the Texas landscape, from the brightness of midday to the warmth of sundown. These tones ground the brand in rugged Western character while adding a refined, celebratory edge that brings layers of depth and sophistication throughout the day.
The hand-drawn brand mark works as a distinctive, artisanal detail that enhances the brand’s personality, reinforcing the ‘Champagne Cowboy’ narrative.
The brand patterns feature a light grid of woven strokes in golden tones that add subtle texture and a sunlit warmth, paired with a pattern of bold, geometric arcs that reference the C’s of the logo, horseshoes, and the rhythm of Western iconography.
