Conference Branding and Event design

Challenge:

Design and implement a visual identity for the TEDx San Luis Obispo 2022 conference around the theme “Transcending the Norm”, ensuring consistent, clear communication across all digital, print, and environmental touchpoints—while also supporting the event’s operations and speaker needs on the day of.

Role:

As the lead designer, I developed the conference’s brand identity, designed social content, printed materials, and sponsorship/speaker packets, and ensured cohesive execution across all assets. I also collaborated with one of the speakers to design presentation slides tailored to her research and worked as part of the core production team during the live event to help manage and film the conference.

Impact:

The event theme was brought to life with clarity and resonance, and the conference was extremely successful.
