CORNICE: Geometric Abstract Landscape
Cornice, SP, Italy | 2024 | 8 Weeks
Challenge:
Design a poster — adaptable for both small and large-scale print — that captured the spirit of Cornice, a mountain village in the Ligurian region of Italy, for a fundraising event. The design needed to celebrate the village’s rich history and charm while appealing to a wide audience in the area.
Role:
I led the concept, design, and production of the poster, creating a visual narrative that honored the character and beauty of Cornice. Drawing inspiration from the village’s natural landscape and architectural details, I developed an illustrative style paired with typographic elements that could scale effectively for both intimate handouts (postcards) and large-format displays. I ensured the final design was both visually compelling and functional, supporting the fundraising goals with clear messaging and emotional resonance.
Impact:
The poster successfully captured the essence of Cornice, resonating deeply with attendees and contributing to a highly successful fundraising event. Its ability to translate seamlessly across both small and large formats ensured the message reached a wide audience, with the design’s warmth and clarity drawing attention and sparking interest.
